Import and export business in Singapore: Custom Registration Number(CR) / Unique Entity Number (UEN)

Custom Registration number (CR) is requested if you dealing with import and export services with Singapore Custom no matter by land, air or sea.However UEN had replace CR number with effect from January 2009. And this requirement apply to all type of company. The main purpose for this number is for custom clearance.

Is the same number given by ACRA during incorporation company time.
Upon successful incorporated company with ACRA , company can activate UEN via https://www.tradenet.gov.sg/TN41EFORM/tds/sp/splogin.do?action=init_by
authorized personal (list of officer stated with ACRA ) and normally will be approved on the same day with free of charges.
For old companies who registered CR number before can get assisting or supporting documents from trade net to support you had activate given UEN with via email:
firstname.lastname@example.org or call 6355-2000.
Company can appoint or change agent to carry on their task via email to email@example.com with the following information:
- Company Name
- UEN Number
- Applicant Name
- Applicant NRIC/Employment Pass/Passport Number
- Applicant Designation
- Contact details (telephone number)
- Authorized Name
- Authorize Personnel NRIC/Employment Pass/Passport Number
- Authorized Personnel Designation
# Authorized personnel of the entity is an individual whose particulars have been filed with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) for business entities or with the Unique Entity Number (UEN) Issuance Agency for other entities.
- Photocopy of the front and back of the Key Personnel NRIC/Employment.
- Letter of authorisation from the key personnel if the applicant is not the key personnel.
