What you need to do being director for Singapore registered company ?<\/p>\n

Based on ACRA records, around 10,000 summons was issued annually to director who\u00a0failed to\u00a0comply with statutorily required under Companies Act such as fail to file Company’s annual return.<\/p>\n

To cure this phenomena, ACRA initial programme called\u00a0Director Compliance Programme (DCP)\u00a0with mission to build up more reliable and transparent business landscape.<\/p>\n

WHAT IS DCP?<\/b><\/div>\n

What you need to do if received DCP letters ?<\/b><\/div>\n

As stated on the letter, attendance is compulsory\u00a0with a fee of \u00a0S$250 per person.<\/p>\n

The available seat for DCP is first come first served concept, so please visit regonline.com\/acra-dcp or call 6692 6076<\/p>\n

Director who comply the half day course\u00a0will given an extension of 60 days to file their annual return WITHOUT any late penalties amount.<\/p>\n

What other option you have other than attend DCP?<\/b><\/div>\n

Option 1<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rush out the account and file annual return with penalties amount as shown on the following table. Higher composition fine maybe imposed ( ranging from S$300 to S$900 per breach) or court summon may be issue against the directors.<\/p>\n
